Latest Smart L.G Android watch

This Is The LG G Watch And It Looks Absolutely Geeky

That Moto 360 is beautiful and all, but you're having doubts whether a watch that classy is going to go well with your everyday wardrobe of band tees, cargo shorts, and beat-up Jordans.  You need something a little less chic and a little more geek.  That's exactly what you're going to get with the LG G Watch.
Yeah, it's geeky.  With its boxy case (37.9 x 46.5 x 9.95mm), silicone strap, and dead simple design, it's what the guys who wore Casios with calculators in the 80s will probably be wearing if they were the same age now.
Designed to provide information at a glance, it features a 1.65-inch IPS display that's always on.   Inside the case, it comes with a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, a 400 mAh battery, and a 9-axis sensor array.  It's completely barren of any knobs or buttons, with any user interaction only available either via voice commands or touch controls.  Like any proper timepiece, the PVD-coated stainless steel case is water-resistant to depths of one meter for up to half an hour.  The band can be traded in for any 22mm watch strap in the market.
Running Android Wear, it can pair with any smartphone running Android 4.3 or newer over Bluetooth, displaying messages, showing alerts, controlling music playback, and more.  Users can also send text messages and run search queries by using the software's voice recognition.

Android Smart Watch

Moment Wraparound Smartwatch Is So Pretty Even Fashionistas Might Like It

When you look at it, the Moment looks more like a clasp than a smartwatch.  And that’s a good thing.  While it looks just as geeky as the geekiest smartwatch out there when it lights up (seriously, it looks like a shackle from a space soldier of some sort), it really does blend in really well with both male and female outfits the rest of the time.
Rather than put all the electronics on a watch case and hook on a strap like current smartwatches, the Moment uses a wraparound design that puts the electronics all throughout the clasp’s body.  The entire surface is, basically, a curved 360-degree touchscreen display, creating a larger panel than usual for all your notifications and touch-based gestures.
Made by Momentum Labs, the Moment is able to fit a full virtual QWERTY keyboard along the curved surface, making it feasible to type SMS, emails, and other items directly on the smartwatch.  It runs on a custom OS that pairs with an accompanying app, which facilitates access to your phone functions and data.  The UI, which is rendered in grayscale, is deliberately designed for simplicity – just enough to run useful apps while consuming minimal amounts of power. Core specs include a 1.73-inch electrophoretic panel (320 x 240 resolution, 16-shade grayscale), a Texas Instruments Tiva C Series ARM Cortex M4 processor, a nine-axis motion sensor, and dual Bluetooth chips (Bluetooth 3.0 and Bluetooth LE).  It has an 820mAh battery.
Designed to be expandable, it comes with a slot for adding extra hardware modules they’re calling Snapware.  Down the line, they plan to use it to add additional hardware-based features to the watch, like plug-in biometrics sensors, GPS, and more.
With Android Wear in full force and other large companies entering the smartwatch fray, it’s likely going to be a tough road ahead for unconventional products like the Moment.  But you never know.

Unique And Smart Charger

NomadClip: This Carabiner Doubles As A Charging Cable

From bracelets to cards to Swiss army knives, there's no shortage of alternatives to charging cables that offer better portability.  A new one called NomadClip has to be one of my favorites, taking the form of an erstwhile carabiner.
Designed to eliminate the mess of wires while making it difficult to lose, the accessory can clip to anything a regular carabiner would.  Like your keychain.  Or a zipper on your backpack.   Or in one of your belt loops.  Once clipped, that's where it will stay, minimizing the chances you'll misplace it throughout the course of the day.
The NomadClip isn't just a flimsy novelty carabiner, either.  While you can't use it for climbing (it's not rated for bearing heavy weights), it's constructed with a tough steel frame and a Bayer Science polycarbonate shell that's strong enough for less intense uses, such as holding tied stuff together, clipping shoes to your yoga bag, or serve as an emergency belt (just use it to hook two loops or something) when the one you're wearing gets stolen while you're using the public toilet at a gas station (yeah, your Dad was right -- buying a $200 belt was a horrible idea).
The connectors themselves aren't on the carabiner.  Instead, they're on a cable that can be partially pulled out of the carabiner's frame, making it easy enough to plug into a charged USB and your phone without any weird maneuvering.  It can be ordered either with a microUSB plug or a Lightning connector.

Portable Solar Fridge

Forget The Cooler, Take This Solar-Powered Anywhere Fridge To Your Next Outdoor Adventure

Can you finally bring a fridge to your next camping adventure?  That's the hope behind the Anywhere Fridge, a portable outdoor fridge that uses solar power to keep your food and beverages cold.
While it looks nothing more than a metal ice chest, the appliance comes with removable solar panels at the top that feed power to a battery module inside the machine.  There's no mention of how much electricity the setup can actually generate, but I guess they're hoping it's plentiful enough to power the compressor during daylight while trickling enough juice the battery's way to keep the thing running at night.  Will this actually work?  I have no idea, but it will be glorious if it does.
The Anywhere Fridge  comes in two sizes (80 and 30 quarts), both styled like a conventional freezer that opens from the top (which should help it retain cold air even when opened, saving the compressor from doing extra work).  It comes with an easy-to-use control panel that lets you adjust temperature between -8 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing it serve as either a freezer, a fridge, or even a food warmer.  While designed to draw power from the sun, it can also be charged via a regular power outlet, as well as from a car's cigarette lighter port.
Construction is aircraft-grade aluminum for durability, with a retractable handle and a pair of small wheels facilitating easy transport (you just drag it like a trolley).  It's weather-proof, too, so you can leave it in the backyard as a personal outdoor fridge that chills your beer free of charge (take that, beer-burying eCool). When the container is empty, the entire thing can be collapsed into a flat-packed frame measuring just 5 inches thick.
An Indiegogo campaign is currently running for Anywhere Fridge.
